Some casks follow tradition. We got curious.

This American oak barrel had already lived a full life, starting as an ex-Bourbon cask before spending more than four years maturing brandy. Then we wondered… what if?

So, in October 2021, we filled it with a well-known energy drink for two years. (Those who know, know.) Once emptied, the cask was immediately filled with mature Corowa Single Malt Whisky.

The result? A whisky that’s vibrant, bold and unlike anything we’ve released before. Ginger, Korean ginseng and fresh peach leap from the glass before crisp green apple, warming spice and herbal complexity take over. It finishes with creamy milk chocolate, fresh-cut grass and a confectionery sweetness that keeps changing long after the last sip.

This is what happens when curiosity gets the better of us.
