The name Bosque Verde is Gaelic for “Green Grove” the name of the family farm for owners Neil & Dean Druce. It reflects the influence of a family business in the sometimes corporate world of the whisky production. These whiskies have been matured in American Oak barrels that have previously contained Australian fortified red wine (or Port).
On the nose; cherries, pear, raisins, spice, oak and hints of chocolate
On the palate; spicy, cinnamon, nuttiness, malt
For the finish; long and sweet, soft with a hint of vanilla
